The TruSim Systems Carpet Panel Pad provides a clean, professional finishing solution for golf simulator installations by covering the open space between the impact screen and enclosure frame. Designed to create a more seamless appearance around the simulator, this carpet trim helps conceal gaps and framing while giving the finished enclosure a clean, picture-framed look. It is an ideal finishing accessory for both residential golf simulator rooms and professionally built simulator installations.

Unlike mass-produced trim pieces, TruSim Systems Carpet Panel Pads are custom-built to your exact specifications. The carpet trim is individually hand cut and sewn in-house, allowing the dimensions and finishing details to be tailored to the requirements of your specific simulator enclosure. Frequently Asked Questions

The Carpet Panel Pad covers the open space between your impact screen and enclosure frame. It conceals gaps and framing around the perimeter of the screen, giving the finished enclosure a clean, picture-framed look.

It is designed for golf simulator enclosures, around the impact screen where it meets the enclosure frame. It is suited to both residential golf simulator rooms and professionally built simulator installations.

Yes. Each Carpet Panel Pad is custom-built to your specifications and hand cut and sewn in-house in the USA, so the dimensions and finishing details can be tailored to your specific simulator enclosure.

One edge attaches to the hook Velcro on your impact screen. The other edge attaches to heavy duty adhesive hook Velcro strips on the frame your screen is mounted to, sitting flush with the wall edge for a natural border.

Yes. The Carpet Panel Pad attaches to hook or loop Velcro and adds padding and protection around your screen. If your screen has a strip of hook Velcro sewn into it, the pad attaches directly with nothing extra needed. If your screen has a strip of loop Velcro sewn into it, you can order your Carpet Panel Pads with a strip of hook Velcro sewn in, or use double sided hook Velcro between the screen and the pad to connect them securely.

No. The Carpet Panel Pad attaches to your screen and to hook Velcro on the screen frame, not to sheetrock.

Yes. Along with covering the gap from the screen to the frame, it protects the edge of your screen.

Standard production currently ships in about 3 to 4 weeks. Rush production may be available for an additional cost, based on the date you need it.

No. It has not been tested or certified to meet fire-retardant (FR) standards, so material approval should be reviewed with your local AHJ where required.

No. Each pad is custom made to your specifications, so it is non-returnable and non-refundable.

Measure from your screen, starting at the Velcro strip, out to the edge of the wall or frame you want to cover. Plan for at least a couple of inches of coverage onto the white portion of your screen as well.

For example, say your screen has a Velcro strip that is 3" from the screen edge, there is a 2" gap between where the screen ends and the angle iron it attaches to begins, and the angle iron attached to the wall is 2" thick. Add at least 4" of screen coverage (3" to reach the Velcro plus at least 1" extra), account for the 2" gap and the 2" of angle iron, and your Carpet Panel Pad needs to be at least 8" wide.

EXAMPLE:

Screen coverage: 3" to the Velcro + 1" extra = 4"
Gap from screen to angle iron: 2"
Angle iron thickness: 2"

4" + 2" + 2" = 8" minimum pad width

It is always best to be safe and cover a little more of the white screen than to not have enough to properly cover the area.

For the best look, try to match the same width on all three sides of your screen whenever possible, so the black border is equal and uniform in appearance.

We recommend 3: one for each side of the screen and one across the top to cover the frame the screen attaches to.
