Garage Golf Build Plan

$500.00

Your custom Garage Golf Build Plan takes the guesswork out of building your golf simulator room. We take your real measurements and work out exactly where everything goes, from the screen and enclosure to the launch monitor, projector and ball position. You get it all back as top down and side view drawings, a rough-in list for your contractor and electrician, and your cart reviewed line by line.

Your plan is delivered within 3 to 5 business days of receiving your measurements and photos, with revisions for 90 days.

Your full $500 is credited toward your order when you buy the equipment your plan calls for through us, and you have 6 months to place that order.

Your custom Garage Golf Build Plan turns an approximate room into an exact, buildable specification. We take your real measurements and work out where everything goes: the screen and enclosure, the launch monitor, the projector, the ball position, the floor build up, and every outlet, Cat6 and HDMI run your contractor needs to rough in before the walls close.

It comes to you as a set of drawings and a written rough-in list built for your room and the exact equipment you choose, plus your cart reviewed line by line with every item priced. You can hand it straight to your framer and electrician and measure against it with a tape.

Every dollar comes back to you. The Build Plan is a one time $500, and the full $500 is credited toward your order when you buy the core equipment package your plan calls for through us. You have a full 6 months from the day your plan is delivered to place your order.

Not sure you need one? Product questions, comparisons and your recommended cart are always free on our 30 minute consultation. The Build Plan is for full builds, where a wrong dimension costs real money and a wall has to come apart to fix it.

Everything below is worked out for your specific room and the exact models in your cart.

  • Screen and enclosure sizing. Finished sizes and placement on your screen wall, with the clearances around them.
  • Launch monitor placement. Mounting distance from the screen, distance to the ball, mount height and clearances for the model you choose.
  • Projector geometry. The lens zone that fills your screen, worked out from the manufacturer's throw specifications, plus the mount and drop needed at your ceiling.
  • Ball position and floor build up. Where the ball sits and how your mat, turf or flooring stacks up against your finished floor.
  • Top down view. A labeled overhead drawing of your room with every distance that matters.
  • Side view. Your ceiling, mount heights and drops, so you can see clearances at a glance.
  • Rough-in list. Blocking, outlet locations, and the Cat6 and HDMI runs to the PC, written for your contractor and electrician.
  • Your cart, reviewed line by line. Every item priced individually, with a link to a ready to buy cart and the items you'll need that aren't in it.
  • What happens next. Ordering, working with your contractor, a photo check before the walls close, and tech support setup after delivery.
  • Revisions for 90 days. Swap the launch monitor, compare projectors, resize the screen. We update the plan as many times as you need for 90 days from the day your plan is delivered.

The drawings are working plans built for accuracy, not 3D renderings.

  1. Book your free consultation. We go over your space, budget and goals and give you honest feedback before you spend anything.
  2. Order your Build Plan. We walk you through exactly what to measure and photograph, including the spots almost everyone misses.
  3. We check your numbers. Anything that doesn't add up, we come back to you before building the plan around it.
  4. Your plan is delivered. Within 3 to 5 business days of receiving your measurements and photos. Revisions typically come back within 2 business days, for 90 days from the day your plan is delivered.
  5. Order your equipment. The full $500 is credited toward your order, and everything drop ships from the manufacturers.

Before the walls close, text or email us a few photos of your blocking and conduit and we'll double check the locations against your plan.

The credit. The $500 Build Plan fee is credited in full when you purchase the equipment package specified in your Build Plan through Garage Golf.

What counts as the equipment package. The core system your plan calls for: the launch monitor, the screen or enclosure, the projector, the simulator PC, and the hitting mat or turf. Your plan lists which of these you already own, and those are excluded. Accessories, curtains and hardware alone do not trigger the credit.

How long you have. 6 months from the day your plan is delivered to place your order. You can buy in stages, and the credit applies once the core system has been purchased through us within those 6 months.

If something has to come from elsewhere. If an item has to come from somewhere else because of a lead time or availability problem, tell us before you order and we'll confirm whether the credit still applies.

How it's applied. When you're ready to place your order, reply to your Build Plan email or give us a call. We'll send you a checkout link with the full $500 already applied, so there's no code to enter. If the package is returned or cancelled, the credit is reversed.

The consultation tells you what to buy. The Build Plan tells you how to build it.

A single launch monitor, a mat, or replacing one piece of an existing setup doesn't need a Build Plan. Book the free consultation instead and we'll point you the right way at no charge.

Why is there a fee?

Because it's real work, often hours on a single room. Our business model has always been to sell at manufacturer pricing and earn only the reseller margin. That margin is the only way we stay in business, because we have never charged for consultations and we offer free tech support to every customer who buys through us. For you, that means you pay the very same price you would pay the manufacturer directly, with no markup.

A Build Plan is different. All of the engineering happens on our end, and when the order then goes somewhere else, we've spent hours focused on a client who never bought a single item through us and that we never made a dollar from. That's something we simply can't afford to do. This setup keeps it fair for everyone: if you buy your equipment through us, the full $500 is credited back and your plan effectively costs you nothing.

Do I have to buy a Build Plan to order from Garage Golf?

No. Plenty of our customers order straight from the free recommendation and never pay us anything beyond the equipment.

Can I start with the free consultation and add the Garage Golf Build Plan later?

Yes, of course! Your initial 30 minute consultation is always free and can be set up as a phone call or a Google Meet session directly with us. Book it here and it syncs directly with the availability on our calendar: https://mygaragegolf.com/pages/30-min-consultation

No matter what you decide, your free consultation and the product recommendations from it are yours to keep.

What if my measurements turn out to be wrong?

That's why we walk you through the measuring instead of just asking for numbers. We cross check everything you send, and if something changes during construction, send us the new numbers and we'll help revise the plan.

Can I use my plan with my own contractor?

Yes. The plan is built to hand to your framer, electrician or any other trade, and it's yours to keep.

Do you install golf simulators?

We currently do not install directly. Most of these builds are very DIY friendly or handled with a local general contractor, and your Build Plan is designed for exactly that. Going this route can also save you thousands of dollars compared to a company that offers a full turnkey setup.

We're also happy to work alongside the general contractor of your choice. Your contractor doesn't need any golf simulator experience, just general contracting knowledge, because we walk them through the details step by step, including placement and exactly where everything needs to go in the setup.

What if I already own some of the equipment?

Tell us in advance and we'll build the entire plan around it. Your plan lists what you already own, and those items aren't part of the package your credit is tied to.

Non-refundable. The $500 Build Plan fee pays for engineering work performed and delivered for your specific room, so it is not refundable.

The plan is yours. If you decide to buy your equipment elsewhere, you keep the full plan, drawings and rough-in list and can use them however you like.

Credited when you buy through us. Order the equipment package your plan specifies through Garage Golf within 6 months of delivery and the full $500 is credited toward your order. See The $500 Credit above for the full terms.
