Built In Minutes, Designed to Last

The SwingBay® uses a push-button, quick-connect system that makes setup incredibly simple. Most users can assemble it on their own in under 20 minutes with no special tools or professional help required. The powder-coated aluminum frame comes together quickly and is built to stay solid and reliable through years of regular use.

Built to Handle Every Shot

The SwingBay® impact screen is made from ballistics-grade woven polyester and is designed to withstand ball speeds up to 250 mph, from driver to wedge. It delivers a quieter impact, reduced bounce-back, and a clean, sharp projection surface that performs consistently over thousands of shots. This is a screen built for long-term performance, not just short-term use.

Projection-Ready Blackout Design

Turn any space into a true simulator setup. Ripstop nylon blackout curtains block out ambient light, helping your projector deliver a brighter, more vivid image. The SwingBay® is designed so your projection fills the screen completely from edge to edge, eliminating wasted space. Whether it’s a garage or a finished room, it’s ready to perform right away.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes — the SwingBay® impact screen is rated to handle ball speeds up to 250 mph, which covers every club in your bag from driver through wedges. It's over-engineered specifically so you never have to think twice about pulling the big stick.

Every SwingBay® ships with the ballistics-grade impact screen, heavy-duty powder-coated aluminum framing with all hardware and tools, nylon blackout curtain enclosure, triangular side netting panels x2 with sandbags, velcro-integrated frame padding flaps, and 6" ball bungees. Everything needed for a complete build is in the box.

Most customers have the SwingBay® fully assembled in under 20 minutes. The push-button quick-connect frame system requires no special tools — everything is included. We recommend a second set of hands, but plenty of customers complete the build solo with a ladder and the included instructions.

The SwingBay® screen is tuned for about 5 feet of bounce-back when set up with the included bungees at the recommended 1" gap between screen and inner frame. The ball returns to your feet instead of rolling to the corner every shot — a small detail that adds up fast when you're grinding through a bucket.

The 8x10 configuration has an overall footprint of 11'W x 15'D x 8.1'H. A minimum ceiling height of 9 feet works for most players, though 10 feet or more gives full swing clearance without thinking about it. Not sure if your space qualifies? Send us your room dimensions and we'll tell you exactly what fits. You can email us directly at contact@mygaragegolf.com

Skip the iron — it can damage the screen material. A clothing steamer applied to the back of the screen works well to smooth out packaging wrinkles on first setup. Once it's hung and broken in, the screen's natural elasticity keeps it taut and you shouldn't need to address wrinkles again.

The screen is engineered to handle 250 mph ball speeds, but longevity comes down to how you maintain it. Rotate your golf balls regularly and keep clubs and balls clean — this prevents the microscopic abrasion that causes premature wear. Over time, subtle discoloration streaks from ball spin are normal and expected. A well-maintained screen will last years of regular use.

Both options use the same ballistics-grade woven polyester material and are rated to handle full driver ball speeds. The triple-layer screen adds material layers that further reduce noise on impact and improve longevity under heavy daily use — it's the choice for serious players who are in the bay every day.
