To ensure the best experience, your space should allow for full swings and proper launch monitor performance:

  • Minimum Room Depth: 18 feet (1 ft. behind screen, 10 ft. from screen to tee, 7 ft. behind tee)
  • Minimum Room Width: 14 feet for a center tee position
  • Minimum Room Height: 9 feet for unimpeded swinging
  • Maximum Room Height: 11 feet (if taller, you’ll need to frame down to 11' max)

Overhead Launch Monitors: Most require mounting 9–10 feet above the hitting surface

This kit is ideal for those with construction or handyman experience. To achieve a true built-in look, you'll need to:

  • Install the screen 1 foot in front of a flat, obstruction-free wall
  • Use a laser level to precisely align components
  • Remove any trim that interferes with screen or panel placement
  • Anchor lag screws into your wall’s top and bottom plates
  • Accurately tension and adjust the screen
  • Follow a provided diagram to plan wall and ceiling panel layout
  • Mount cleats into wall studs or use drywall anchors to secure each panel

Carl’s Built-In Golf Room Kit forms the foundation of a fully enclosed simulator space. You can customize your setup with optional padded panels or curtains to match your aesthetic and protection needs.

Please note: This kit does not include essential golf simulator components such as:

  • Hitting surface or hitting mat
  • Launch monitor
  • Projector
  • Computer or gaming device to run simulator software

These must be purchased separately to complete your full simulator system.

Carl’s Place products generally follow a 30 day return window on most items, as long as the item is new, unused, and in original condition. Returns must be approved before anything is sent back. Please contact Garage Golf first so we can confirm eligibility and provide the correct return steps.

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. All returns are inspected upon arrival. If an item is returned in a condition other than new and unused and is deemed suitable for discounted resale, a restocking fee may apply, including up to 30% in some cases.

Important Exceptions

Custom products may be non returnable, and some custom items may only be eligible for changes or cancellations within 24 hours of order placement. Clearance items are sold as is and are not eligible for return. If an item is marked Manufacturer Direct, return and cancellation terms can vary by manufacturer, and restocking or cancellation fees may apply.
