It’s that time of year again! The new crop of golf clubs is starting to trickle in and we got our hands on the latest and greatest from PXG. The 0211 hybrids, woods and driver are the company’s more affordable offering for 2022 below their flagship 0311 Gen 5 product line. Priced at almost half the cost of the higher 0311 Gen 5 product line, these clubs were put to the test in our simulator and they definitely did not disappoint. Let’s take a closer look.
Design and Technology
As always, PXG has gone above and beyond in terms of design and technology with their 0211 hybrids, woods and driver series. The hybrids and woods are built with high-caliber materials including an AM355 stainless steel body and an HT1770 stainless steel face. And the driver? With the Ti811 titanium allow body and the Ti412 titanium alloy face, the 0211 driver delivers more distance, improved accuracy and added forgiveness over the previous 0211 product line at a shockingly low price. The white line that surrounds the club head on the perimeter of the driver and the rest of the product line gives the clubs a fantastic look that makes it easy to line up your shot. This is definitely one of the best looking drivers on the market today.
PXG 0211 Performance
We’ve had the chance to hit almost all of the new 0211 hybrids, woods and driver products, and we have to say, they’re downright impressive. The ball jumps off the face of the clubs like we’ve never seen before, and the forgiveness is amazing. We’ve seen some skeptical golfers out there questioning whether or not PXG’s clubs are worth the price tag, but we think these new 0211s will definitely change their minds. With an aggressive and affordable pricing strategy, PXG is primed to sell a ton of these clubs!
Pricing and Availability
The 2022 PXG 0211 hybrids, woods and driver series of clubs are available for order now. As for pricing, the hybrids currently run $149.00, the fairway woods will only set you back $169.00 and lastly the driver sells at an affordable $199.00. So yeah, despite what you may have heard about PXG, they have certainly changed their focus to create great products that are affordable for all types of golfers. And when it comes to quality golf clubs, nobody does it better than PXG.
PXG 0211 – Our Conclusion:
All in all, we’re extremely impressed with the new PXG 0211 hybrids, woods and driver. They’re some of the best performing clubs we’ve ever hit, and they look absolutely amazing too. I would even venture to say that I like the look of them over even some of the higher Gen 5 0311 products that are out there currently. Sure, they’re meant to be an entry level offering most likely, but with the results we saw and as a mid handicap golfer who is not too worried about having adjustable weights or hosels, I feel that you really can’t do any better than the 0211 product line from PXG for the price.
